The Highest Score!

My legs sore over my head. I feel my parents and the judges watching me. I stay focused. That's when I feel my feet scrape the trampoline, I stiffen and my feet plant down and I land!
I solute with a big smile on my face!
Then I look up at my score and I was happy. I hear my team running over and I know that they were happy to!
"Beezus! Beezus! Beezus!" Everyone chanted as look back up at my score. 14.6 was the highest score I had ever gotten before with an aerial!
As the judges gave me my certificate I was moved onto the sixth level team with my best friend Grace! I give Grace a huge smile, and she replies back with a bigger one!
My parents come over an I jump into my fathers arms. He stares at me with excitement and I stare back with hope. My dad had been going through some trouble with work so I knew that this had brightened his day and mine!
As I was tucked into bed that night my parents kissed my head and I drifted of to sleep with happy thoughts and the hope I had during the competition.
Today was the day for me!

I Love My Little Pillow

Sometimes people say it's easy for them to not have anything special like a blanket or stuffed animal to bring anywhere or sleep with. I have found out though that I need something known as my Little Pillow! I love my Little Pillow because I can bring it anywhere I go because it's really small, I got it when I was little, but most of all because my grandma made it especially for me!
First off, I love my Little Pillow because it's small enough so I can bring it everywhere I go. For instance I always leave my Little Pillow out of my suitcase when ever we go on a long or short car or a plane trip so I can lay on it. I've always thought that my Little Pillow was more comfortable then any other pillow in the world!
Another reason I love my Little Pillow is I got it when I was really little. If I hadn't received it then I wouldn't have something that comforts me, It wouldn't have started a new tradition to make me one almost every year, and I wouldn't have something to remind me of my Grandma because she lives far away in Australia and my family lives in the NY State.
One more reason I love my Little Pillow is that my grandma made it especially for me. Every year I know my grandma takes her time to make me a special Little Pillow, and I know she makes sure that she always includes an Australian animal in the fabric she uses to make me the Little Pillow. I love the kangaroo and koala animals the best!
I love my Little Pillow because I can bring it anywhere I go, I got it when I was little, but I really love my Little Pillow because my grandma took her time to make me a special Little Pillow! I've always known that my Little Pillow was something that I could love and something that would always comfort me. I love my Little Pillow!
